Burgette is a Statistician at the RAND Corporation. His primary research interests include methods for causal inference and Bayesian modeling, with applications focused in the areas of epidemiology, health policy, and social science. Dr. Burgette is currently the maintainer of the TWANG package for causal inference in R. Prior to RAND, Dr. Burgette was a post-doc at Duke University and earned his Ph.D. in Statistics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
