Ami Sedani

Ami Sedani is a doctoral candidate in epidemiology in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Broadly, her research focuses on chronic disease epidemiology (with specific interests in cancer prevention), causal inference methodology, and health disparities. She earned her BS in biology from Arizona State University and then a MPH in epidemiology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After receiving her MPH, she was worked as a chronic disease epidemiologist at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services until 2018 when she decided to pursue her doctoral degree.
