Jackie is a social epidemiologist and postdoctoral researcher at the City University of New York’s Graduate Center. Her research examines the health consequences of punitive social policies for population health and racial health equity. Her work is informed by her partnership with Deeper Than Water, a coalition against toxic water and medical neglect in Massachusetts state prisons. She is a co-author of the American Public Health Association’s policy on ‘Advancing Public Health Interventions to Address the Harms of the Carceral System’.
