Deshayne Fell

Dr. Deshayne Fell’s research focuses on fetal and infant population health, primarily using birth registries and large health administrative datasets. In recent years, her emphasis has been on influenza disease and influenza immunization during pregnancy and their relationship with birth outcomes. Dr. Fell earned her doctorate in epidemiology at McGill University, and is appointed as a scientist in the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute and as an assistant professor in the School of Epidemiology, Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the University of Ottawa.
