I am writing to share a Postdoctoral Research Associate opportunity at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
The role focuses on big data analysis, substance use, neurocognition, and tobacco regulatory science. Key research areas include analysis of big data with advanced statistics, assessing neurocognitive effects of tobacco use, and behavioral interventions for cessation. Responsibilities involve contributing to project planning, leading codebook review, variable coding, statistical analyses, and manuscript writing. Strong writing skills, independent thinking, and problem-solving are essential. Experience with large databases is preferred, and proficiency in genetic data analysis is desirable. Required Qualifications are a PhD or MD in Public Health, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Psychology, Psychiatry, Cognitive Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields. The ideal candidate is a recent Ph.D. graduate with a strong background in statistical modeling, tobacco regulatory science, or neurocognition and brain development.
