ABOUT THE POSITION
The JPS Center for Epidemiology & Healthcare Delivery Research (CEHDR) invites applications for a Health System Research Associate position. CEHDR is a multidisciplinary research group embedded within a safety-net health system that aims to enhance care delivery, advance health equity, and improve population health. Our research is intended to directly benefit patients in our health system and beyond.

This position will support researchers, healthcare providers, and operational teams to conduct epidemiologic and health services research in our Care Delivery Lab and Pharmacoepidemiology Lab. We encourage applications from candidates with expertise or interest in evaluating healthcare interventions, implementation science, predictive analytics, drug utilization, drug effectiveness and safety, or medication adherence. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing systematic reviews of the literature, synthesizing evidence, and maintaining reference management databases.
• Drafting proposals, protocols, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
• Collecting data through chart reviews, interviews, or other methods.
• Monitoring progress, providing updates, coordinating project team, and resolving barriers throughout life cycle of multiple simultaneous projects.
• Enhancing research, project management, and interpersonal skills through continuing education.

HOW TO APPLY
Graduate training (MPH, MS) in epidemiology, health services research, or related field is required. Strong interpersonal and project management skills are highly valued.
