ABOUT THE POSITION
The JPS Center for Epidemiology & Healthcare Delivery Research (CEHDR) invites applications for an institutionally funded Biostatistician position. CEHDR is a multidisciplinary research group embedded within a safety-net health system that aims to enhance care delivery, advance health equity, and improve population health.

This position will collaborate with researchers, healthcare providers, and operational teams to conduct epidemiologic and health services research in our Care Delivery Lab and Pharmacoepidemiology Lab. We encourage applications from candidates with expertise or interest in applying methods for causal inference and risk prediction to generate evidence that informs care decisions. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing databases derived primarily from routinely collected healthcare data (e.g., electronic health records)
• Developing analysis plans for experimental, quasi-experimental, and observational study designs
• Implementing statistical analysis plans and generating results
• Preparing detailed descriptions of analyses and findings for manuscripts
• Actively seeking new knowledge of methods for data management and analysis

HOW TO APPLY
