Travel Scholarships
Kenneth Rothman Travel Scholarship submissions open September 23, 2025. Submissions are due by January 13, 2026. In conjunction with Boston University School of Public Health, SER will be offering three, $900 Kenneth Rothman Travel Scholarships to attend the Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, June 23-26, 2026.
Eligibility
Assistant Professor or equivalent entry-level, staff scientist position in the government, private sector, or industry. Self nominations are accepted.

Requirements
Submit a short essay (1500 characters or less) describing the nominees impact on and leadership in epidemiology and public health.

Finalists will be contacted to provide three letters of support.
Award Details
Scholarship Winners will received up to $900 in expense reimbursement to attend the annual meeting and SER membership for subsequent year. Attendance is required to receive the award. Travel expense receipts must be submitted in order to receive funds.
