Lia Scott Georgia State University
Dr. Lia Scott is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Population Health Sciences for Georgia State University School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the intersection of race and place, examining the role of the social environment and structural racism on triple-negative breast cancer disparities. Her work primarily uses medical geography, spatial analysis, advanced statistical modeling and epidemiologic methods to elucidate drivers of these racial and geospatial disparities.
