Trained as an epidemiologist, I have expertise in the pharmacoepidemiology of aging and analyses of large administrative claims data. My primary research interest is sequelae of traumatic brain injury (TBI) among older adults, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and methodological issues in TBI research. I also have a robust line of work on the treatment and outcomes of sleep disorders among older adults. I am an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
