I’m an Epidemiologist and Kinesiologist at Department of Epidemiology of the School of Public Health, University of São Paulo (FSPUSP), where my current position is an Assistant Research Professor awarded by FAPESP (#process 2017/20317-0). And I’m the Scientific Coordinator of the YCARE (Youth/Child cArdiovascular Risk and Environmental) Research Group at Medical School, University of Sao Paulo (FMUSP).
I have a B.Sc. in Kinesiology, Residency in Human Physiology, M.Sc. in Pediatrics and I earned 2 Ph.D. diplomas (area: Epidemiology and Health Sciences) University of Sao Paulo, Medical School (Brazil), and other from University of Zaragoza, Faculty of Health Sciences (Spain).
I am Alumnus Postdoctoral at the Medical School, University of São Paulo, supervised by Associate Prof. Heraclito B. Carvalho. I am also Alumnus Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Department of Epidemiology, supervised by University Distinguished Professor Moyses Szklo. I’m currently a member of the Scientific Societies: Society for Epidemiologic Research
(SER) since 2017; International Epidemiological Association (IEA) since 2014; American Society of Nutrition (ASN) since 2016; The Obesity Society (TOS) since 2019.
I have Research experience in the epidemiology of cardiovascular health, diagnostic methods, environmental and socioeconomic determinants, and lifestyle behaviors, including health behavioral policy analysis and composition of scientific manuscripts.
