Adina Zeki Al Hazzouri, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Miami. She is a social epidemiologist and her primary research focus pertains to how social and cardiovascular risk factors experienced across the life-course influence cognitive function, dementia, stroke and other related health outcomes in old age, with a particular focus on minority populations. Dr. Zeki Al Hazzouri completed her doctoral training at the University of Michigan (2011), and later pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California in San Francisco (2014).
