Kumi Smith

M Kumi Smith is an infectious disease epidemiologist focusing on transmission dynamics of infectious diseases, particularly as it informs public health interventions. My work combines classical epidemiology with methods in transmission modeling, geospatial sciences, behavioral economics, and qualitative methods to identify and test the effectiveness of interventions to control HIV and STI in resource constrained settings.
