Description – The various available designs (ecologic studies, randomized trials, cohort and case-control studies) would be discussed, with attention paid to the means of configuring their design and analysis to minimize bias. Also, the settings and circumstances favoring or disfavoring each potential design would be considered.
Format – Lectures would alternate with exercises. Attendees would be asked to read one article prior to the workshop.
