Alvin (he/him) is a predoctoral fellow in the Department of Epidemiology at UNC Chapel Hill. His work focuses on the genetic architecture of cognitive/brain resilience and reserve. This line of research may help identify interventions that promote health brain aging. He serves on the SER Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Student and Postdoc (SPC) committees; he hopes that SER continues to foster an inclusive community dedicated to improving population health.
