Dr Tufekci has been so incredibly on target and at all times 100% marked what really mattered. Her insights in both scientific and societal aspects of the pandemic made her always to be a step before all of us, including when talking about epidemiologic dynamics. In addition, she remained vocal, using very accessible and understandable language and explained to the public, including to epidemiologists, the very basic but crucial mechanisms and realities of the still further developing pandemic. She keeps reaching out and tells us what is coming next.
