Victor M. Cardenas is Associate Professor with the Division of Epidemiology of the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, in Little Rock. A field epidemiologist who has worked in Mexico, Colombia and Central America and served as first Executive Director of the Network of Training Programs in Epidemiology and Public Health Interventions (TEPHINET). His research interests include the epidemiology of H. pylori infection and related diseases, the emerging use of electronic nicotine delivery systems. He is a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology and serves in its Board of Directors.
