Lisa Bodnar is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Epidemiology and Obstetrics/ Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and School of Medicine. The goal of her research is to discover the healthiest weight, nutrition and behavioral practices to support optimal health for pregnant women and their children. Dr. Bodnar is currently funded to evaluate optimal weight gain guidelines for women with singleton and twin pregnancies and relations between maternal vitamin D status and adverse birth outcomes.
