The SER Senior Epidemiologists Network brings together experienced members to foster mentorship, share big-picture insights, and support the next generation of epidemiologists. Drawing on decades of research, teaching, and leadership, our group offers guidance through career development sessions, symposia, and collaborative activities. We welcome new participants interested in shaping the future of SER and the field of epidemiology.

Is the Senior Epidemiologist Network right for you?

Membership in the SER Senior Epidemiologists Network is open to longstanding SER members who have reached an advanced stage in their epidemiology careers. This group is designed for individuals who:

Have significant experience as researchers, teachers, administrators, or leaders in epidemiology.

Value staying connected with peers and sharing perspectives gained from years of professional experience.

May have held leadership positions such as department chair, dean, center director, or branch chief.

Wish to support career development, participate in symposia, serve as session discussants, or collaborate with junior colleagues.

Are interested in contributing their expertise to SER and the broader field, especially through mentoring, advising, and addressing big-picture challenges.

Participation is voluntary and open to any senior member who would like to join the distribution list and engage in group activities.
