This panel will feature epidemiologists from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health departments across the United States who will share insights into their career paths, day-to-day work, and experiences in applied public health practice. Attendees will learn about opportunities in local, state, and federal public health agencies, the skills needed for success in these roles, and how epidemiologists contribute to improving population health through surveillance, policy, research, and public health response.
