Selection bias is one of the fundamental concerns in epidemiology, yet its conceptualization and implications continue to evolve. This session brings together leading epidemiologic methodologists to showcase recent methodological advances in understanding selection bias, its mechanisms, and consequences. It will examine selection processes from multiple theoretical perspectives and empirical or simulated contexts.
