Chanelle Howe

choweDr. Chanelle Howe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Brown University School of Public Health. Dr. Howe’s research interests include better characterizing, adapting, and applying advanced quantitative methods to enhance causal inference based on data from experimental and observational studies. Specifically, her work has focused on using advanced causal inference techniques to address selection bias, confounding bias, and to perform mediation analyses largely when examining the link between alcohol/drug use and HIV as well as the sources of HIV racial disparities.
