Sidra Goldman-Mellor

Sidra Goldman-Mellor, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at the University of California, Merced. She is a psychiatric epidemiologist whose research focuses on the social, clinical, and economic determinants and outcomes of suicidality and other mental health problems across the life course. Much of her current work focuses on using large-scale emergency department and death record data to track clinical outcomes of self-harm behavior. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the U.C. Firearm Violence Research Center, and the Hellman Family Foundation.
