Geetanjali Datta

Geetanjali D Datta, MPH, ScD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine at the University of Montreal School of Public Health and a Principal Researcher at the University of Montreal Hospital Research Center. Dr. Datta’s program of research focuses on inequalities and multilevel determinants across the cancer continuum. Her current Canadian Institutes of Health Research-funded work focuses on individual- and macro-level determinants of cancer-related behaviors, stage at diagnosis, and survival. Dr. Datta was the recipient of a Career Award from the Canadian Cancer Society and is an equity advisor to the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. Dr. Datta received her doctoral degree in Epidemiology and postdoctoral training in Social Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health.
