Sadie Costello, PhD, is an occupational and environmental epidemiologist at the School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley.  Her research has focused on identifying biases and using a casual framework approach for exposure-response modeling in large occupational cohorts. She has studied a range of chronic disease outcomes in occupational settings including heart disease and cancer in relation to exposures from aluminum manufacturing, metalworking fluids, diesel exhaust, and silica. Dr. Costello has substantial experience in the application of sophisticated statistical models in the epidemiologic analysis of occupational cohort data.
