Shalini Selvarajah

sselvarajahShalini Selvarajah, MD, MPH is a clinical and health services researcher interested in improving health equity through health promotion and prevention efforts and to enhance access to early, appropriate care, particularly in the fields of neuro-trauma and neuro-rehabilitation. She currently manages the clinical research unit at the International Center for Spinal Cord Injury at Kennedy Krieger Institute, in Baltimore, MD, where she additionally focuses her research work on identifying strategies to improve outcomes among individuals with spinal cord injury. She has a keen interest in ethics in epidemiology, and public health and clinical research, and is interested in championing the appropriate use of big data as its need and utility continue to grow into the future.
