Noelle Cocoros, DSc, MPH, is an Epidemiologist and Research Associate in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. She has a background in pharmacoepidemiology, infectious disease epidemiology, and public health surveillance. She has expertise in the use of claims, health record, and registry data for surveillance and research purposes and is an investigator for the FDA-funded Sentinel Initiative. Prior to joining the Department, she spent nearly eight years in the Bureau of Infectious Disease at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, most recently as the Director of Research and Evaluation. Dr. Cocoros received a doctorate in epidemiology from the Boston University School of Public Health where her research focused on influenza epidemiology and surveillance and the long-term health effects of early life infections.
