Breanna Alman

After graduating from the Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health in 2014, Breanna Alman began serving in the Office of Research and Development of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as an Oak Ridge Institute of Science Education Fellow, and shortly after transitioned to a health scientist in the Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards. There she works on the National Ambient Air Quality Standards human health epidemiologic risk assessments, among other projects. Breanna’s research interests include sources of heterogeneity in air pollution health effects, birth defects, and the health effects of wildfire smoke.
